How can I enroll in Butler?
Butler is a Traditional school, and you must apply through the application process. The application must be completed by the deadline date in January. Apply here!
At what number can I reach my child’s principal?
The principal and assistant principals are in the Main Office, and you can reach them by calling (502) 485-8220.
At what number can I reach my child’s counselor?
The counselors are in the Guidance Center, and you can reach them by calling (502) 485-8220.
What do I do if I need a transcript of my child's grades after graduation?
Call the Transcript Office: Lam Building, (502) 485-3141.
Whom do I call if my child is going to be absent?
You can call the Attendance Office at (502) 485-8220 or (502) 953-0650.
My child has been absent several days. How do I get make-up work?
On the third day of absence, call early in the morning to the Counseling Office at (502) 485-8220.
What if my child needs to leave school early (sign-outs)?
A student who knows in advance that he or she will be leaving during the school day must present a note from his or her parent/guardian to the counselor’s office before the beginning of the school day.
After three sign-outs, a student is considered unexcused from class and no make-up work will be accepted. With four or more sign-outs, a parent/guardian must come into the school building to sign out the student and must show a valid picture I.D.
What if my child will be late to school? What do I do?
Only three parent notes per semester will be accepted to excuse a student’s tardy to school. Students with four or more tardies must have a note from the doctor/dentist, etc.
