Family Programs provides a vast array of services designed to promote a healthy mental and socio-emotional wellbeing for students to develop and maintain positive self-esteem. Family Programs also works with students to teach necessary life skills that young parents need to foster and navigate healthy relationships with their child, their family and the community at-large. 
On a daily basis, TAPP students can receive support from Family Programs with the following:

•	Family Counseling
•	Crisis-intervention Counseling
•	Clothing and food assistance
•	Referrals for community, economic, and medical assistance

What is the best way for my child to talk to the mental health practitioner?
A student may talk with their student social services support worker, teacher, or other school staff who can make a referral. The student can also talk directly to the mental health practitioner and make it known that they would like to begin counseling services.
