 Principal's Letter

Dear Wilder Community:

Welcome to Wilder Elementary School! I am humbled to be the principal of a school with such a proud tradition of excellence since 1957. We were honored as a Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) School of Distinction in 2016. Our goal is to help your child reach his or her fullest potential in a safe and supported way. We offer a learning environment that engages students academically. Students learn at high levels and have fun! I want to encourage you to visit anytime and volunteer through our award-winning Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Parents are always welcome at our school. We will always give our best to your child and family because as our motto says, Wilder Wildcats always do their best!

Respectfully,
Bill Perkins, Principal
